Looking Ahead for Karen Baker Photography…

As we are nearing the end of the first month of the new year… I have NO idea where the month of January went… I am ready to settle on a few changes for Karen Baker Photography going forward.  As many of my sweet clients know, our family has taken on some exciting new things in the past couple of years, things that have been an incredible blessing to us, but have also taken me away from photography more than ever before.  I am embracing this season, and so thankful to be able to enjoy it with my children as much as possible, but still thankful for the opportunity to serve my family and precious clients with this little business started SEVEN years ago (officially) this month!

With that said, and as I scale back even more in the number of sessions I am able to take on during this particular season for our family, one of the big changes is travel.  In the past, I have been able to service clients further into Atlanta and the north-east metro suburbs.  Going forward, I will only be able to do sessions on location in the Paulding, Cobb, and Bartow county areas, as well as some locations on the northwest side of Atlanta.  I will miss being able to service those clients who are further away, but for now, I know that cutting down on travel time for sessions will be especially helpful to finding a better balance for our family.

There are SO many amazing photographers in the metro Atlanta-area, as well, and I have no doubt that those clients who I can no longer service will be able to easily find someone new to photograph their families!  If you are in need of recommendations, please do not hesitate to contact me so I can share the names of some of my favorites!

Local clients, if you are interested in booking something this Spring, let me know so I can add you to my list to contact.  I took more time off this year after the crazy Fall season, but I am finally gearing back up to start scheduling for Spring 2015.  Thank you to everyone who has already contacted me & been so patient as our family enjoyed a much quieter January!:)

Also, I am currently ironing out details for a couple of weekends’ worth of Spring mini sessions.  If you are interested in finding out more, just let me know and I can add you to that list, as well!

For now, I’ll leave you with some of my favorites from my Fall 2014 mini sessions!

Happy 2015!
