Cody & Heather ~ Atlanta, Georgia Portrait Photographer

Meet my brother-in-law, Cody.  Again.  And his beautiful (now, officially!) fiance, Heather, again.  If you remember, I put these two through similar torture of a little “pre-engagement session” this past summer while we vacationed in Hilton Head.  They weren’t officially engaged at the time, which means I had every right to put them through (official) engagement picture torture yet again.  I’ve gotten to photograph this beautiful couple on the beach, and a week or so ago in the snow, and I can’t promise that come Spring when the grass is green again and the flowers are blooming, that I won’t put them through yet another round of pictures.  It’s the consequences you pay for having a photographer as a sister-in-law, I suppose!

Either way, I truly appreciate their full cooperation and, really, I’d have to say they’re becoming quite the professionals at this point.  You can’t even tell that Cody is secretly plotting my death inside his head, with each and every picture I take!

Seriously, though, I am so proud to call Cody my brother-in-law.  He was still in high school when Joe and I met and started dating, so I’ve watched him grow up and take on some pretty important roles within the community… and as of this September, will watch him take on the role of groom and husband to this beautiful girl.  I couldn’t be more thrilled, excited, happy, and most importantly, thankful & blessed, to officially be able to call Heather my sister-in-law as of this Fall.  It’s been a long time coming and even though I’ll be giving up my title as favorite daughter-in-law (since up until now I’ve been the ONLY daughter-in-law!), I couldn’t be more excited to watch these two walk down the aisle and become husband and wife!  What a special day it will be!

I’m just honored to be able to document this exciting time for them… no matter how annoyed they may be with my camera by the end of it all!
