K+S ~ Charleston Wedding

Remember this beautiful couple, who I photographed last Fall? The ones I am so fortunate to call family?  My beautiful sister and my wonderful new brother-in-law recently said their “I do’s” in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina, and invited close family and friends along for the ride!

Although I am not a wedding photographer (projects like these always make me that much more in awe of my talented friends who do tackle weddings on a regular basis), I felt privledged that Kimberly and Stephen allowed me to document their special day, and even more thankful that I can provide them with what I captured to remember these sweet moments.

We endured a little rain, but if almost nine years of an incredible marriage to my own precious husband have taught me anything, it’s that a little rain on your wedding day brings nothing but good things to follow!  When you’re this happy and in love, the weather (good or bad)doesn’t phase you a bit!  The rain just adds a little extra room for “creativity” when it comes to photography… especially for this natural light photographer!

Nothing makes me happier than seeing how happy these two are… and how happy this sweet man is making my sister.  I love how they make each other laugh and I love that not only have I gained a wonderful new brother-in-law, but also an awesome new niece with this package!  God is SO good and he has certainly blessed our family with these new additions!

Congratulations, again, Kimberly & Stephen!  Thank you for trusting me with your wedding day memories… hope you’ll enjoy a few highlights for now!
