I met sweet Logan & his family a couple of weeks ago for what was one of those rarely seen or, really, rarely felt cool summer mornings in the south. We all remember it fondly- it was that weekend in July where we actually saw the 70’s at certain points during the day. It was glorious… and Melissa, Josh and their family were blessed with having this beautiful weather for their session.
Melissa and I went to high school together. In fact, when my family first moved back to Georgia – when I was in 8th grade – Melissa was one of the very first people I remember meeting. Mr. McCollum’s Social Studies class, maybe? I dunno… but what I do know is that she is just as sweet and gracious now as I remember her being to me as the “new kid” those many years ago in middle school.
As always, it was really special to see someone I hadn’t seen in years… now all “grown up” with a family of her own. We met up to do some family shots but specifically to capture this special stage in her little one’s first year. Baby Logan was precious… and so snuggly… and so in love with his family. I am having so much fun going through the images from this session because I love seeing the way this 5 – almost 6 – month old looks at his mommy and daddy and big sister & brother… clearly he sees already just how much he is adored by the people around him.
Melissa & Josh, thank you so much for driving down to meet me for our session. Melissa, it was wonderful seeing you again & meeting your sweet family! I hope you will all enjoy some sneak peeks from our session… more to come soon!!
