I’m certain I’ve said this before, and quite possibly in another post for this very same family, but one of my favorite aspects of being a photographer is having the opportunity to meet and work with wonderful people. It’s one of those things that makes me stop dead in my tracks and thank God for this path He’s chosen for my life. I love sharing in happy moments, and helping to preserve them for years to come. I love getting to know a family and being able to document the changes in their lives… from a maternity session, to a newborn session, to the big one year session, and so on, and so on. Even as I enter my 3rd year of business, I still pinch myself sometimes to make sure this is really something I get to do… as my job!
I’ve worked with Daniel and Natalie since this – now TWO year old – was still in her mommy’s belly… and they remain some of the most warm, genuine and loving families that I’ve met to date. I always look forward to my sessions with them and feel blessed to document some of their special moments.
This session fell the weekend after the big snow storm (referred to as the “Blizzard of 2011” around these parts), which meant I had my first opportunity to work (professionally) in the snow. It was cold, and windy, but Mary Margaret was a trooper (mom & dad, too!) and I love that we’ll always remember the big snow when we look back on these images…
Natalie and Daniel, thank you for another opportunity to work with your sweet family! I always love seeing you and hope you’ll enjoy these sneak peeks for now!
